WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO ORGANIZE A CORPORATE PHOTOSHOOT?

ARE YOU SEARCHING FOR A PHOTOGRAPHER TO TAKE HEADSHOT IMAGES FOR YOUR COMPANY? HERE ARE SOME HELPFUL TIPS FOR ORGANIZING THE ENTIRE PROCESS STEP BY STEP.

Step 01- BUDGET

First and foremost, let's talk about the budget. You must decide how much money you are willing to spend. You can take lifestyle images or photos for a short team overview page (thumbnails) with your phone if you need them. However, if photographs are required as part of the website design, professional high-resolution photos are required.

• Do you think you'll be able to handle it on your own?

• Do you have a friend who is a photographer and can do it for nearly nothing?

• Invest what you can; images will last for the next five years.

Step 02-PHOTOSHOOTSCHEDULE

It's always advisable to organize the session ahead of time, at least 1 - 2 weeks ahead of time. We propose that you choose some example images from our website that you like so that we can better grasp your thoughts and preferences.

• At least 1 to 2 weeks before the event

• Add a few hours to your schedule in case it takes longer than intended.

Step 03- STUDIO VS ON-LOCATION SHOOT

You must decide whether the session will take place in your office or in a picture studio. When you shoot in the studio, you can obtain a better value because the photographers' travel fees are not included. However, if you have a large group of people who need headshots, it's probably more convenient to hold the shoot in your office.

Step 04- BACKGROUND AND THE FINAL LOOK

It's usually a smart idea to arrange shoots ahead of time so that your crew has enough time to prepare. In addition, you have enough time to decide on the final aesthetic for the photos/what background color you want for the headshots. One of the most noticeable features is the background color. If you have a specific website layout in mind and wish to have it replicated, remember to tell your photographer.
